Housing Management Officer

A highly reputable charity based in London are currently recruiting for a Housing Management Officer to join their team on a temp/fixed term basis. This role will focus on carrying a full housing management service to vulnerable clients in supported housing.
Length of contract: 6 months temporary or FTC
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Location: London with travel to various locations (hybrid, 2 days wfh)
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Role responsibilities:
• Manage a patch of around 40 properties
• Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low-level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears
• Offer specialist knowledge and insight into rent arrears helping tenants with budgeting
• Carry out regular estate inspections and dealing with any health and safety issues
• Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements
• Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies
• Manage void properties to ensure the quickest re-let times including carrying out viewings and sign-ups
Essential requirements:
• An Enhanced DBS with the Adults lists checked from within the last 3 years or willingness to apply
• Experience providing a housing management service
• Use of a car is preferable but not essential
