Business Analyst - Transformation Projects

We are working with a local authority who are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team, to provide advice and guidance to the Transport team on sustainability measures.

Location: Southwest based Local Authority 

Set-up: Remote/Hybrid – 2 days per week

Rate: £400 per day OUTSIDE IR35

Duration: 3 months initial

Hours: Full-time position

Responsibilities include:

• Analyse and document existing cross organisational processes and methodologies
• Collect, understand, and translate business requirements
• Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure clear definition and agreement of business requirements
• Develop and create business requirements, process flows, relevant templates and examples
• Develop process maps and workflows
• Create new lean processes and new documentation that meet governance requirements in a regulated environment

Requirements:

• Experienced business analyst who has worked in a range of complex environments
• An understanding of project management methodology
• Ability to effectively engage a range of stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to effectively process and synthesise complex information and present it in an accessible and clear way to inform business decisions
• An understanding of the political environment
