Our annual charity day raised £2,648.38. Thank you to all our employees for their generosity in support of their chosen local charities: Bristol Dementia Action Alliance, Life Share, Mitchell’s Miracles, Faces and St Richards Hospice.

Throughout the day our offices held quizzes, office darts, Mario Kart tournaments, bake sales, chase the llama and more. The highlight of the day was our company-wide raffle, and our sincere thanks goes to our sponsors:

Softcat, Boxphish, SimplifyIT, Fleetmps, Paystream, Tieva, Crowdstrike, Primetel, Focused Group, Giant, Paystream, Nasa, Danbro, Churchill Knight, Sapphire, Parasol, and Workwell.

We have already held a number of fundraising and sponsored events across the year, and this day’s events brings the total closer to our annual target. Thank you to our charity team – Elly Hanna, Emma Oldham, Kayleigh Green, Rosie Jones, Gianluca Di Meo, Alex Tresnan, Sam Hall, Marcus Hamer, Ebby Vallance, Felicity Woodbridge, Tabbie Bush, Katie Stainton, Jordan Veitch, Carol Li, Hannah Powell, Tia Hewitt, Charlotte Foley for your drive and enthusiasm in supporting your offices’ chosen charities. We heard from a few of them below:

“St Richards Hospice is an incredible charity that supported me and my family back in 2019 when my dad received palliative care from them. They worked tirelessly to support to my Dad’s needs and also offered emotional support to us as a family. With only around 18% of their funding coming from the NHS, they massively rely on fundraisers from the Public and Businesses like us to support them. I continue to support the charity both inside and outside of work to contribute to the day to day running of the services they provide and am grateful to everyone in our Birmingham Office who took part in our charity day, and donated.”

Marcus Harmer, Birmingham

“Supporting St. Richards Hospice fills me with pride knowing that every contribution, no matter how small or large, is helping provide comfort, care and dignity to those when they need it the most. The staff there create the most caring and peaceful environment for the patients and their families as they navigate through some really hard times. St Richards is a wonderful charity who have been an absolute pleasure to support.”

Katie Stainton, Birmingham

“Bristol Dementia Action Alliance is a fantastic local charity which was set up to raise awareness and understanding of dementia and to support those living with it along with their carers and families. Having volunteered at one of their memory cafes myself and witnessed first-hand the amazing work they do to support the community, I can honestly say that it has been a pleasure to support them as an office for the last 2 years and to play a small part in their journey.”

Charlotte Foley, Bristol

“We were very grateful to be able to run charity day in raising money for our incredible Charity Mitchell’s Miracles. The way they provide emotional and financial assistance to families with a child fighting neuroblastoma is truly inspiring. Watching everyone support and raise money for such an extraordinary organisation was a very proud moment for us. We look forward to continuing our support and working with the charity team to raise money to benefit these families.”
