Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, they do more. They bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through their expert nurses. They make more noise because people have gone unheard. They are relentless because the disease is ruthless. They care more because people feel forgotten. |

Empire Fighting Chance is a leading sport for development charity that was born on Bristol’s streets in 2006 to fight the impact of inequality on young people’s lives. They use a powerful combination of non-contact boxing and intensive personal support to challenge and inspire young people aged 8 to 25 to realise their unique potential. Since they began in Bristol in 2006, they have transformed thousands of young lives through boxing. Their heritage in the sport spans more than five decades running an inner-city boxing gym, creating many champions along the way. These programmes are ran in their gym, in schools, and through a growing network of partner organisations and affiliated amateur boxing clubs in England and Wales. |

They are the UK’s largest collective force of people with unparalleled knowledge and over 40 years of experience addressing the biggest challenges facing people living with dementia. |
![]() | Milton Keynes In October 2011 “Harry’s Rainbow” was born after the loss of their 5 and a half year old son/ twin brother after he had suffered massive brain stem damage. They found it very difficult to get the bereavement help and support they needed as a family and in particular for Jessica, a five and half year old who had lost her twin brother, there wasn’t really anywhere locally that they could turn to. That was when they decided to create Harry’s Rainbow, a charity committed to supporting bereaved children and their families in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. To deliver the incredible services they provide to bereaved children and their families, Harry’s Rainbow plan and take part in a number of local events, challenges and campaigns. MK office are keen to get involved with these, so we have ensured there is something for everyone to enjoy from colour runs to quiz nights!” |
