Venn Group are working with a well-established University based in London who are looking for an 1st Line Support Analyst to deliver support across the various departments and internal functions.
1st Line Support Analyst
Day rate: £150
Length: Contract initially before going permanent
Location: London
Duties:
- Provide 1st line support to stakeholders across the University
- Providing resolution to service requests
- Providing 1st line support across a variety of technologies, products and services
- Escalate any problems to more experience members in the team
- Work with customers and provide a suitable solution and then escalating more complex issues
- Investigating, troubleshooting, and preventing the recurrence of incidents that interfere with the normal delivery of IT services
- Install, configure and support operating systems used for mobile devices
- Manage networking hardware and communications devices such as adapters, routers, hubs, bridges and multiplexors
Experience:
- A basic generic knowledge of 1st Line Support activities
- A basic level of knowledge of Microsoft Windows to provide general support
- Understanding of AV and IT Systems and their application within a service environment
- Competence in the use of Microsoft Office 365, Digital Telephony and Corporate Information Systems packages
- Demonstrable proficiency of a Web-based call logging system
- AV and IT troubleshooting skills
- Higher Education sector experience is highly desirable
