Assistant Management Accountant

Venn Group are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant based in Tameside, Greater Manchester

• 12-month fixed term contract
• Office based
• £35,000 - £45,00pa
• 35 hours per week

The successful candidate:

• CIMA or ACCA qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong Excel skills

Duties & responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly stock reports and analysis
• Preparing, reconciling, and posting journals
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing price variance of actual invoiced against standard costs
• Maintaining a fixed asset register
• Communicating with external suppliers including HMRC
• Reviewing aged creditors reports
• Reconciling Purchase and Sale Ledger controls prior to month end
• Reconciling and submitting VAT returns
• Liaising with auditors
