Interim Opportunity - Caretaker
Venn Group are working with a large private school in Essex to recruit for a full-time Handyman
Hourly rate: £18-20 per hour thorugh an umbrella company
Length: 3 -4 months +
Location: Essex
The successful candidate will:
Be responsible for all aspects general maintenance for the school
Undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance work across all school buildings
Be responsible for general repairs to buildings identified through risk assessment and fire risk assessment typically including adjusting/replacing door closers
Provide general maintenance duties within the skillset and assist the maintenance team in ensuring planned and reactive works are completed
Ensure that school facilities, equipment, plant, premises and grounds of the school are maintained
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience in a similar role
An enhanced DBS
Health & Safety knowledge of risk assessment
