Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer – Predominantly Remote Working – 6 months + - up to £55 per hour Umbrella
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are pleased to be recruiting for a Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer to join a lovely and supportive team in a Midlands based Local Authority. This assignment will be for an initial period of 6 months with a likely extension thereafter.
The ideal candidate would work full time on a predominantly remote working basis. They will also have will have a broad working understanding of Judicial Reviews with a focus on assisting Childcare matters.
Duties may include:
- Dealing with Judicial Reviews with a focus on reviewing Childcare matters
- Representing your clients in court, tribunals, and hearings, advocating for justice and compliance
- Managing claims from cradle to grave, ensuring timely advice, compliance with CPR deadlines, and high-quality representation
- Supporting the Principal Lawyer in leading a talented team of lawyers and support staff
- Drafting complex legal documents and collaborating with external counsel when necessary
- Support strategic objectives by overseeing key projects, managing risk, and allocating work effectively
An attractive hourly rate of up to £55 per hour Umbrella is offered for this position dependant on experience.
