Credit Controller

We’re partnered with a London University to recruit a Credit Controller. The post holder will join a busy and successful team and will focus on the collection of corporate and commercial debt.

Job duties:

• Responsibility for collections on the Universities commercial ledger – invoice values range from £100 - £2m
• Telephone collections
• Raising and issuing of invoices /credit notes via the finance system 
• Maintenance and issuing of debtor emails
• Resolving queries via communication with internal and external customers
• Updating account notes
• Ledger administration i.e. raising misc adjustments, allocation and reconciliation

Candidate profile:

• Experience in credit control chasing commercial debt
• Experience working in a large-complex organisation
• Experience using Business World (Agresso)
• Ability to demonstrate that you are highly organised and have excellent communication skills
• Excel reporting experience (e.g. Excel Pivots, VLookups)

Job information:

• Hourly rate: £19 - £21
• Contract Length: until the end of October 2024
• Location: East London (1 day per week on site)
