Data Transformation Programme Manager

We are working with a South Gloucestershire Council who are looking for a Data Transformation Programme Manager.

Location: South Gloucestershire Council

Set-up: Hybrid – ideally minimum 2-days a week on-site

Rate: £675 per Outside IR35

Duration: Initial 8-month contract

Hours: Full-time position

Responsibilities include:

• Essential demonstrable experience of local government having worked within a local authority, at a senior level
• Experience of leading a corporate data transformation programme that significantly improved data architecture and delivered tangible benefits to services and residents
• Experience of working collaboratively across the whole council, ideally with evidence of working with hub-and-spoke or matrix management arrangements
• Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and SQL as enterprise solutions, and integrating these with a variety of line of business systems

Requirements:

• Local Government experience required for initial shortlisting, then thereafter at the client’s discretion
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to rapidly demonstrate the value of improved data
• Self-starter with ability to independently shape and deliver a brief, using limited resources and managing upwards to ensure senior management visibility
