Deputy Service Manager
We are pleased to be working with a Charity supporting people with Learning Disabilities to recruit for a Deputy Manager
The successful post holder will support the service to deliver an outstanding support service for adults with learning disabilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Team Leader to ensure your team deliver on quality improvement, safeguarding, health and safety, and managing the budget of the service
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the Charity’s services, relevant legislation, quality standards, and sector developments
- You monitor individual’s wellbeing, informing and involving the manager and Human Resources in all matters where staff wellbeing is a concern
- Ensure that all relevant financial and staff related recording systems are completed in a timely manner
- assist people in applying for financial assistance programmes, grants, or subsidies they might be eligible for
- Ensure that people’s accommodation is kept to high standards at all times with the cleanliness, décor and maintenance
- Review safeguarding and health and safety incidents and appropriate learning is undertaken as a result
Person Specification:
- Have experience working with people with learning disabilities
- Ensure safeguarding and safety are always at the forefront whilst respecting informed decisions and the Mental Capacity Act
- Experience using The appropriate use of communication systems including use of digital care records
- The ability to identify various types of risks and conduct risk assessments
- Have, or are working towards, RMA/LMC, Health and Social Care NVQ4./ QCF 5 or equivalent
Salary: £29,000k per annum
