A position has arisen for a temporary Electrical Estates Officer placed within a highly reputable healthcare organisation situated in the Northern Home Counties. This role takes responsibility for the supervision of Minor Work Projects and the Electrical Team for a contract length of 3 months with the possibility of an extension.

Your duties will include:

• Managing compliance regarding assigned AP duties across the site
• Supervising an Electrical Services Team
• Ensuring statutory compliance to relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and HTM guidance is maintained along with Trust policies
• Monitoring Electrical Engineering and Building standards throughout the estate, implementing changes to the service as required
• Providing specialist advise to the Senior Engineer and Estates Services Manager
• Arranging best economic deployment of resources within the Estates department
• Acting as an Authorised Person for up to three disciplines
• Be the point of contact for technical purposes for the Trust
• Acting as a delegated budget holder for contracts and contractors
• Producing and manage highly technical projects within day to day and capital schemes

The successful candidate should have:

• Experience supervising electrical services within a commercial environment previously
• Attention to detail and Health & Safety awareness
