The Head of Data Engineering role will have direct accountability for the organisation-wide analytics project to produce detailed and real time management/performance information reports.
Rate: £500 - 750 per day DOE
Location: Remote
IR35 status: Inside
Contract length: 6 months
Job Responsibilities:

They will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and development of a new data warehouse to deliver analytics for the Research System Transformation Programme, operations, workforce and finance initiative

The aim of the programme is to deliver: A World Class Regulatory System – A modern, data driven, scalable research system essential to UK competitiveness to enhance system-wide data sharing, increase transparency, improve market intelligence, reduce unnecessary duplication and provide greater value to the public purseresponsible for delivering analytics provision

Will include collaborative work with both producers and consumers to progress maturity in data understanding within the organisation and its data quality processes

Work closely with the Associate Director IT Portfolio Management and Senior Enterprise Architect to ensure that this is aligned with digital strategy
The ideal candidate will have:

NHS/Healthcare experience

Implemented a data warehouse and be competent at understanding all aspects of the Microsoft BI stack
