Team Management
• Manage Technology Managers focusing on coaching, development, support, and performance
• Lead the Technology team, ensuring efficient performance management
• Drive standardisation and efficiency in the team’s responsibilities across the organisation
• Empower teams to make decisions and deliver seamless service
Assets
• Oversee Technology assets within the organisation
• Lead asset quality, management, and sustainability projects
• Develop an annual plan for asset sustainability and value retention
• Ensure data from inspections informs appropriate fund use
• Manage the central asset register for budgeting and resource planning
Budgets & Financial Management
• Manage the Technology budget and 5-year plan
• Oversee the Technology budget and identify opportunities or concerns
• Set annual budgets addressing key risks and needs
• Collaborate Senior Leaders within the organisation to manage capital investment and technology infrastructure
• Ensure compliance and quality control in Technology contracts
Risk Management
• Lead risk management for the Technology team, contributing to the central risk register
• Advise on technology budget control to minimise risks
• Promote a positive risk culture across the organisation
• Oversee risk assessments and ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies
• Lead on critical incident processes and technology-related issues
• Ensure compliance with procurement legislation and manage external contracts
Project Management
• Manage technology projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with the Project Officer
• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder involvement
• Work within team budgets and create business cases for deviations
• Lead internal teams and coordinate third-party vendors for project success
• Drive technology projects in line with strategic and operational goals
GDPR
• Collaborate with the DPO to ensure GDPR compliance and handle incidents
• Maintain processing records and evaluate data processing activities
• Act as the point of contact for GDPR-related issues
• Ensure compliance with data subject requests within legal timeframes
• Liaise with external organisations on data processing
• Oversee DPO audits and adjust procedures as needed
• Coordinate staff training on GDPR compliance
• Manage Subject Access Requests (SARs) and delegate information gathering
