Housing Litigation Locum
Venn Group’s specialist legal recruitment team is currently working with a Local Authority based in Kent, known for their interesting workloads and strong team, are recruiting for a Locum Litigation Lawyer to join their busy legal department.

This is an inside IR35 full-time role (36 hours per week). The role requires full office presence and will be suitable for anyone who can commute to Kent.

Some of the responsibilities include:
1. Providing legal advice on matters relating to Housing and ASB
2. Managing a caseload of legal matters residential relating to Housing and ASB
3. Building and maintaining a relationship with the key stakeholders and external partners on the Council’s behalf

The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Must be a qualified solicitor or barrister or legal executive with a current practising certificate.
2. Experience covering Licensing Committee
3. Experience of providing legal services relevant to Local Government.

The hourly rate for this is competitive and candidates may either be provided with a council laptop or use their own.
