Job description: We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the North West as a Housing Lawyer on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave. The client is looking for someone to start on a remote, full-time basis for up to 12 months.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handling a full caseload of matters covering most aspects of Social Housing law
• Caseload involves conduct of Disrepair claims primarily, in both the pre-action and litigated stages
• Provide general advice to Council departments and other providers of social housing on housing law issues

Hourly Rate: £50 - £55ph

The ideal candidate would be a Qualified Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive. Recent Housing Law experience is essential, ideally within a Local Authority setting.
