Job Title: Inventory Coordinator
Job description: We are currently recruiting for a permanent Inventory Coordinator based in the Hyde area
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £35,000
Duties will include:
- Establishing initial stock holding figures and reviewing figures
- Reviewing lead times from suppliers
- Assisting with the monitoring of sales
- Working/liaising with suppliers and the sales team to minimise the levels of redundant stock
- Ensuring purchase orders are raised and are in line with sales and stock demands
- To liaise with the production planning team to advise levels of finished stockholding required
- To use trend analysis to identify sales cycles
- To support with purchasing, shipping, and exporting
- General administrative duties
- Occasional worldwide travel
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in planning, purchasing, and managing the flow of supplies
- Experience of sourcing globally
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and train others when required
- Excellent communication skills and a strong telephone manner.
- The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role and be available at short notice
