Investment Accountant

Investment Accountant:

Duration:     Temporary – 6 Months

Location:     Warwick - 1/2 days per week onsite

Hours:         37.5 Hours per week

Salary:         £350 per day via an Umbrella Company (Inclusive of Holiday Pay)

Duties:

• Work with the Project Management Teams to ensure that project spend & forecasts are at all times thorough, comprehensive, and fully reflective of the projects progress on site and programme, together with the considered risk profile in order to update and submit in line with the monthly timetable
• Provide a review of performance to Management and project teams, undertaking trend and variance analysis with an eye on critical evaluation to drive improved project performance
• Support the Senior Project Manager in interpreting and understanding their portfolio highlighting reasons for deviation and areas of focus
• Ensure accuracy of actual costs incurred, provide challenge to the project teams if costs appear too high or low and ensure there is an effective control framework
• Undertake a crucial role for all audits, providing clear supporting information and evidence of balances providing understanding of the position and the reasons why they move
• Ensure there is a focus on the close out processes and forecasting of capitalisation to prevent backlogs, ensuring the business recognises it’s true asset and depreciation positions
