I.T Test Lead Position
Location: Remote
Rate: 26.82 per hour
Hours: 37.5
Length: 6 months contract (with option to extended)
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy aligned with the overall project objectives.
- Create detailed test plans, including test cases, test data, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify testing requirements and priorities.
- Test Execution and Management:
- Oversee the execution of various testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing.
- Monitor test progress, identify and resolve issues, and report on test results.
- Manage testing resources and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Defect Management:
- Track and manage defects throughout the testing process using a defect tracking system.
- Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Analyze defect trends to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Test Automation:
- Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Select and implement appropriate test automation tools and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that the Dorset SIIS Programme meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality reviews and audits to identify potential risks and issues.
- Promote a culture of quality within the project team.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular status reports on testing activities to project stakeholders.
- Communicate test results and recommendations to relevant parties.
- Collaborate with other project roles to ensure effective coordination and problem-solving.
