Juniper and Azure Network Engineer

Venn Group are working with a local authority client in London to recruit an Interim Network Engineer (Juniper and Azure) on an initial 3 month contract.

The role is paying £500 umbrella per day (inside IR35).

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, configuring, and managing networking solutions across a variety of platforms, including Juniper, Azure, and leading firewall and security systems.

The Interim Network Engineer will support an established Network Team and will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust, secure, and efficient network infrastructure for the organisation, working closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role will be hybrid, requiring some days onsite at the offices in London.

Essential skills and experience required of the Interim Network Engineer:

• Juniper Networking: Expertise in Juniper switching, routing, wireless, and Mist cloud-managed solutions
• Azure Networking: Skilled in Azure VNets, ExpressRoute, WAF, and firewall configurations

Desirable skills and experience of the Interim Network Engineer:

• F5 Solutions: Proficient in F5 WAF, ASM, APM, and traffic management
• Palo Alto Firewall: Experience in deployment and management, including threat prevention and policy configuration
• Cisco Networking: Hands-on experience in Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and SD-WAN
• Collaborate with stakeholders, create design documentation, evaluate new features, and maintain robust network configurations
