Interim Lead Commissioner (Adults Projects)
Location: London, flexible hybrid working
IR35: Inside
Length: 6 months initially
An opportunity has arisen with one of our London based clients for an interim lead commissioner for adults projects. The successful candidate will report into the Lead Commissioner for Older People and ultimately the Head of Commissioning for Adults, supporting the work of the Innovation, Personalisation and Older People’s portfolios
Key responsibilities of the Interim Lead Commissioner (Adults Projects) include:
- Redesign and re-procurement of the Homecare model using strong project management skills and meeting milestones/deadlines
- Supporting care technology work as well as wider commissioning activity
- Ad hoc support around the Better Care Fund where required
- Help with developing our dementia strategy
Essential experience for the Interim Lead Commissioner (Adults Projects) include:
- Demonstrable experience as a lead commissioner in adult social care, specifically in homecare and reablement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities to take projects through to fruition
