Leasing Officer Required

Hours:                    35 Hours

Location:                South West 

Venn Group are looking for a Leasing Manager for a Housing Charity in the South West.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Liaising with Landlords on geographic patch
• Monitoring property conditions and repairs
• Negotiating commercial lease terms
• Deal with Property hand backs after tenancies are finished
• Leasing with surveyors regarding property assessments
• Deal with the commissioning and decommissioning of the properties
• Conduct thorough property inspections to ensure properties meet standards
• Manage ongoing lease renewals and landlord relationships, holding landlords accountable for repair and maintenance obligations
• Lead the property handback process, including negotiating dilapidations settlements and ensuring acceptable handover condition
• Liaise with internal teams to understand current and future property needs to guide procurement activities
• Promote leasing services, attending landlord events, and building relationships with property owners/investors

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstratable experience in a similar role
• Full UK Driving Licence
