Job description: An opportunity to join a prestigious Local Authority in the North West region has arisen for a Solicitor to work within the Childcare team for an initial period of 6 months with a chance of extension.
The requirements will be:
- To advise the internal and external departments on Children's Social Care and Education matters
- To advocate in contested and uncontested hearings in the local Family Courts and instruct Counsel where necessary
Working arrangement: To start September 2024 until March 2025. This role is to be performed on a full-time basis, where travel for Court is required.
This role is suited to individuals who have experience within Local Government as a Childcare Solicitor.
Hourly rate: £50-£60ph DOE
