Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in the North of England on an temporary basis.

This is a full-time, remote position, offered for an initial term of 3 months and is subject to likely extension thereafter.

An hourly umbrella rate of up to £60ph is offered for this post.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Specialising in procurement, contracts and development projects
• Protecting the interests of the Authority by advising upon, drafting and negotiating legal agreements
• Providing expert legal advice to a variety of clients in-house across all directorates
• Completing contracts on behalf of the Authority
• Advising on legal matters affecting a public body more generally
