Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – Initial 3-6 months- East Midlands – Remote Working - Up to £55 per hour (Umbrella)

Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently working with a reputable Local Authority in the East Midlands, who are seeking a Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer for an intial three-month assignment with the possibility of extension. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a general commercial contracts caseload, providing high-quality legal advice and support.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Advise on procurement matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective legal solutions.
• Manage workloads efficiently, adhering to given timescales and budgets.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with experience in handling commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of the legal framework governing commercial contracts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing a busy caseload effectively.

This role is available at a competitive rate of up to £55 per hour (Umbrella) and is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled legal professional looking for a flexible remote position.
