Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – East Midlands  - Initial 3-6 months – Remote Working – Competitive Rate

Venn Group’s specialist Legal Team are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a successful Local Authority in the East Midlands area.

Location: East Midlands
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: Initial 3 months with a strong likelihood of extension to 6 months
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Hourly Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working Arrangement: Fully remote – no office attendance required

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload including high-value ICT transfer projects.
• Oversee the re-procurement of ICT infrastructure, ensuring all legal aspects are thoroughly addressed.
• Provide expert legal advice to ensure the council's commercial interests are protected and advanced.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Contracts lawyer with a strong background in ICT and public sector procurement projects. The role offers the flexibility of working entirely remotely while engaging in complex, high-profile cases.
