Management Accountant (Part Time)

Location: Hatfield, AL10 (Hybrid)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £37,999 - £45,163 FTE (£22799.40- £27097.90 actual)

Hours: 0.6FTE/22.2 hours per week

The role play a key role in managing a portfolio of externally funded projects, providing vital professional advice and support on research-specific financial issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial and business advice to groups in conjunction with Finance Managers.
• Prepare detailed analysis of projects, budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
• Construct and submit project submissions internally and externally, ensuring timely reconciliation of auditable income and expenditure.
• Complete monthly management accounts and communicate proactively within the Finance team and management.
• Assist in preparing Year-End financial statements in accordance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Part-qualified member of a professional accounting qualification (CCAB)
• Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial information
