Mechanical Pipe Fitter

Location: Birmingham
Reports to: Mechanical Supervisor  
Accountable to: Maintenance Manager

Venn Group have been approached to assist with the recruitment of a Mechanical Pipe fitter for a large scale organisation in the Birmingham area, This role is on a temporary ongoing basis.

Responsibilities Include:

• Diagnose and repair faults to mechanical systems on large site 
• Reactive repairs, planned maintenance and upgrades
• Report to Maintenance Supervisor and complete jobs on mobile device
• Multi discipline repairs
• Attend call outs as part of an out of hours rota
• Use permit to work, risk assessment, work orders and job documents
• Work co-operatively with other sections of the Estate Teams, external contractors and service providers
• Complete tasks in accordance with current Health and Safety legislation and Health and Safety policies of the Site and Estates
• Carry out first and second fix plumbing, mechanical and associated building works to specification as instructed, either individually or as part of a team
• Experience of working within a building services maintenance environment in a large organisation
• Undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment including service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, and VRV/VRF systems.
• Mechanical or Plumbing qualification

The ideal candidate must be available for work on short notice. The rate for this role will be between £16 PAYE or £19 per hour on an Umbrella basis.
