Multi-skilled Joiner

Our client, a leading Housing Association in Manchester, is currently recruiting for a multi-skilled joiner to join their team.  You will be working on social housing, on a full-time, temporary basis, working 38 hours per week and in return you will a competitive salary of £21 per hours Plus Company Van, Fuel Card & Excellent Benefits.

As a successful candidate your day to day duties would be:

• Complete all aspects of joinery and woodworks

• Snagging on kitchens including undertaking basic tiling
• Undertake basic plumbing including installing radiators

• Liaising with customers when arranging and carrying out work, having full regard to their needs and working from written and verbal instructions, including drawings, diagrams, sketches and calculations using measuring equipment

An ideal Multi Trade Operative will hold the following qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2/ NVQ Level 3 in Joinery
• CSCS Card
• Asbestos awareness

• The ideal candidate will have experience working in social housing and be competent in all trade disciplines (tiling, plumbing and joinery)

• A successful candidate will have a UK driver’s license
