Venn Group would like to introduce a Joiner position available to candidates registered with Venn Group.

Location:         Middlesbrough

Rate:               £22.91 per hour CIS (Estimated)

Length:            3 months fixed-term contract

Hours:             37  hours per week (Monday to Friday)

As a successful candidate you will have experience working as a Joiner preferably in social housing.

The duties, of which experience is essential, will include:

-Being part of the repair and maintenance voids team on a full time, temporary basis where you will be responsible for ensuring high quality repairs and maintenance are carried out to ensure our homes are of the highest standard ready for our new customers. You will be predominantly working in the Tees Valley (Hartlepool, Stockton and Middlesbrough) but you may be required to travel outside of these areas on occasions.

-Multi-skilled in trades like plumbing

-In addition to holding the required skills linked to your base trade, you’ll be able to demonstrate your ability and/or willingness to undertake all additional skills required of a Trade Plus operative. In return, we’ll provide you with Trade Plus training.
