Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Job description: We are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst/Purchase Ledger based in Leeds City Centre on a full time, temporary basis.
Duties will include:
- Taking responsibility for the payment of invoices received
- Able to produce and provide invoice information
- To support and provide advice to budget holders and other finance colleagues
- Reviewing and processing invoices working with Accounts Payable
- Reconciling with the finance system and instructing on corrective action
- Helping to support the management of the SLA and the provision of month end financial reports and quarterly returns
- To ensure all work is kept up to date and specific tasks are completed with set timetables, procedures and quarterly standards
- Reporting to the Finance Manager and assist them with managing the finances on the schemes and programmes that form part of the training and fellowship portfolio
- To provide complex financial analysis using a healthcare research management system and other systems
- Assist the Finance Manager in the costing of business cases
- Being involved in other diverse areas of work as required to deliver the given programmes and awards
Salary/ Hourly rate: £11.44- £13 + Holiday Pay
Working hours: 37.5 hours
The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, and be available at short notice.
