Venn Group has been approached by a private company who are looking for a temporary to permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk
Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Rochdale
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000k per year
Length: Temporary to permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours p/week
The role will involve:
- Processing a high volume of invoices
- Dealing with customer queries via email and telephone
- Handling bank and statement reconciliations
- General bookkeeping duties
- Monitoring a purchase ledger email inbox, handling queries
- Communicating with stakeholders including chasing suppliers
- Preparing BACS payments and weekly pay runs
- Support the Management Accountant with financial processes and improvements
- Assisting in training of other colleagues
The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, have a basic knowledge of Excel including VLOOKUP’s/Pivot Tables, and be available at short notice.
