Senior Charities Lawyer – Corporate/Commercial

We have partnered with a prestigious law firm in search of a Senior Charities Lawyer to lead their charities practice on an interim basis during their permanent recruitment process.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the firm’s charities practice, working alongside their nationally recognised team of charity lawyers. This team offers guidance to a wide range of charities, not-for-profit organisations, and social enterprises.

Key Duties

• Provide comprehensive advice on company start-up and setup, including structuring and incorporating charities or enterprises
• Manage reorganisations and offer commercial and legal counsel to trust companies, associations, Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs), and Community Benefit Societies
• Address issues involving the Charity Commission, members, trustees, as well as trading and income generation matters
• Advise on all aspects of school and academy conversions, including organisational structure
