Solicitor – Adult
An opportunity has arisen for an Adult Social Care Solicitor to join Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council’s supportive legal team on a permanent basis.
As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for handling a busy and rewarding caseload including court work and advice work. This will include with advising Social Services clients on all aspects of relevant legislation.

Responsibilities
- Undertaking a range of adult social care matters
- Typical matters will include, Court of protection, S21A, Deprivation of liberty, Mental Health matters, Mental Capacity matters, Community care
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
- Two years or more PQE
