Job Title: Stock Condition Surveyor (6-Month FTC)
Location: Burnley
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct stock condition surveys across a portfolio of social housing properties, including tenanted and void properties.
- Assess the condition, age, and lifecycle of building components to support asset management strategies.
- Collect and input accurate data into property databases to inform investment planning and compliance.
- Identify and report on maintenance, disrepair, and compliance issues in line with industry standards.
- Ensure all survey data meets quality assurance requirements and supports planned works programmes.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support effective asset management.
- Provide recommendations for planned maintenance, refurbishments, and capital investment projects.
- Ensure adherence to relevant health & safety regulations, including HHSRS and Decent Homes Standards.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience conducting stock condition surveys within the social housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of housing components, maintenance requirements, and building pathology.
- Familiarity with asset management databases and data entry (e.g., Keystone, PIMSS, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to compile technical reports.
- HNC/Degree in Building Surveying, Construction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in Social Housing and knowledge of compliance regulations.
- Full UK Driving License.
