Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council needed to strategically appoint interim leaders within their Housing Department to ensure seamless service delivery during organisational changes and legislative adjustments. These professionals played a crucial role in maintaining service quality whilst the council secured permanent talent.
Throughout the year, as a supplier on their HR Portal, we were requisitioned to deliver this recruitment support alongside other agencies and fulfilled 75% of the roles.
The Solution
On receipt of each requirement, our local government division utilised our extensive talent database and LinkedIn network to secure a shortlist of suitable candidates who would add value to the council.
Our collaborative team structure ensured the CVs of qualified and committed candidates were forwarded to the client within three days of receipt. This efficiency was achieved through the immediate concentrated efforts of the four team members conducting the initial search, followed by shortlisting and interviewing in the subsequent days.
The Outcome
75% of all these leadership roles were successfully placed by our team, enabling the council to effectively prepare and implement strategic change.
