Adult Social Care Lawyer – South East – Highly competitive hourly rate – Remote Working
Position: Adult Social Care Lawyer
Organisation: South East based Local Authority
Duration: 3-month ongoing
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Remote working however office attendance is welcomed
Hourly Rate: Highly competitive hourly rate
Venn Group’s legal team are working with an innovative Local Authority based in the South East to assist with their search for an Adult Social Care Lawyer.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who has proven experience of undertaking a wide range of Adult Social Care work and who is driven to deliver results.
Please note this is a non- advocacy position. Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.
Duties shall include:
1- Managing a wide range of Adult Social Care matters including Deprivation of Liberty and Court of Protection cases
2- Draft a variety of legal documents, including statements and pleadings, addressing diverse issues within social care functions
3- Offer expert advice on legal matters and responding proactively to potential judicial review threats
4- Providing support and advice to the legal team
