Adult Social Care Locum

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the Northwest as an Adult Social Care Locum. The client is looking for someone to start on a remote, part-time basis for 3 months initially, with scope to extend. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to 3 days a week and will be able to conduct advocacy.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handling a full caseload of complex Adult Social Care files
• Dealing with Court of Protection, Deprivation of Liberty and Mental Health matters
• Handle Ordinary Residence issues
• Provide general advice

Working Arrangement: Remote, with the occasional attendance to Manchester Courts in the event that advocacy cannot be done remotely
Working Schedule: Part-time, 3 days a week
Rate: £50-60 per hour, umbrella
Start Date: Immediate start
Duration: 3 months initially, very likely to be extended

Recent Adult Social Care experience is essential, as they need candidates that can hit the ground running.Candidates must have worked in a Local Authority. Candidates should hold a practicing certificate.
