Business Manager

Venn Group are excited to announce that they are working with a leading London Independent School group to recruit a Business Manager for a permanent position within their institution. The post holder will be responsible for providing business management, commercial and project management support to members of the senior leadership team across the organisation.

Annual salary: £62,000-£65,000

Working hours: Full-Time 52 weeks, 35 hours per week

Location: North West London

Job responsibilities include:

• Assessed income opportunities for charitable purposes, delivering analyses and presentations
• Managed risk registers, monitored mitigations, and prepared reports
• Supported board and committee report assembly, coordinating inputs as needed
• Collaborated on board actions and reporting requirements
• Provided insights on organisational assets and resources
• Evaluated business cases and proposals
• Facilitated commercial discussions and agreements
• Liaised with external partners
• Developed and maintained contract and procurement registers, promoting best practices

Person specification:

• Experience in strategy or management consulting, or corporate development within a regulated sector (essential)
• Skilled in analysing, presenting, and advising on strategic, business, and commercial opportunities and risks (essential)
• Proven track record in business partnering or client collaboration in strategic and corporate development (essential)
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for analysing and reporting opportunities and risks to stakeholders (essential)
