Interim Civic Campus Director

Based in London, hybrid working (Flexible)

Length: 12 months (possibility of extension)

The Civic Campus Director will be responsible for the collective leadership of the council’s flagship programme which is transforming the Town Hall and surrounding area.

Core deliverables of the Civic Campus Director:

• Overall programme delivery of the development and build, including the new build homes, commercial developments and remodelling of the Town Hall
• Management of the wider Place Shaping worksteam
• Management of the operational change for moving all civic functions back to the refurbished Town Hall
• Key stakeholder management with council members, internal departments, build contractors, commercial partners and residents

Experience and knowledge required of the Civic Campus Director:

• Local Government experience in capital and regeneration programme delivery
• Experience of Commercial developments
• Understanding of building and construction terminology
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
