Locum Contracts & Procurement Lawyer – North - Remote Working – £60ph Umbrella

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in the North of England on an interim basis.
The client is willing to consider both full time and part time options (ideally 3 days +), to start in January 2025, for an initial term of 3 months and is subject to likely extension thereafter. Fully remote working is available.
An hourly umbrella rate of up to £60ph is offered for this post.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Specialising in procurement, contracts and development projects
- Protecting the interests of the Authority by advising upon, drafting and negotiating legal agreements
- Commercial developments, grant agreements, general legal advice
