Venn Group is currently working with an NHS London Trust to recruit a Digital Project Manager to manage large IT projects for the development and implementation of information systems to meet IM&T strategy and business plans.

Rate: £253.42 per day umbrella

Location: Outer London – hybrid  

Duration: ASAP start - 6 months initially

Working hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours)

Job Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of one or more projects
• Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project, presenting viable mitigating actions to Project Boards
• Effectively estimates costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project(s) to an agreed scope
• Prepare and maintain project plans and track activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to senior IT and user management as appropriate
• Work with colleagues and clients/users to investigate operational requirements and problems, contributing to improvements in information systems, data management, processes/procedures, organisation and equipment

The ideal candidate:

• Experience at compiling realistic large project plans and delivering to target
• 2 years experience working in a NHS acute service role
• Experience in PRINCE2 methodology
