Electrical and Mechanical Engineer (s) (Commercial Plumber)

Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers required

Venn Group are currently recruiting for a both Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers for a public sector organisation in Coventry, £19 per hour PAYE or £24 Umbrella 

Job Summary:

To work as part of an inhouse maintenance shift team to provide planned and reactive maintenance

Main duties:

• To carry out PPM and reactive work across site as required

• Diagnose and repair faults in engineering and/or electrical and/or plumbing installations, plant, and equipment to deal with new situations as they arise

• Responsible for testing and fault finding on all engineering plant and equipment, out of hours and unsupervised.

• Work under own initiative to undertake maintenance and repairs as directed

• Perform unsupervised work including activities that may be demanding and / or nonroutine

• Maintain building and site service records

• Be part of a shift Rota 4 on, 4 off (days and nights)

The ideal candidate will have:

• City & Guilds in either Electrical and/or Mechanical Services Level 3 or NVQ Level 3.

• Previous experience in a multi skilled maintenance position with a core skill in either Electrical or Mechanical Services

• Previous experience in a Competent Person (CP) role, for example, Low Voltage CP (HTM 06), Medical Gases CP (HTM 02), HVAC CP (HTM 03) etc

• Physically fit as the role will involve manual handling.
