Estates Project Manager needed

A position has arisen for a 6 month temporary Estates Project Manager placed within a highly reputable organisation within Oxfordshire. This role takes responsibility for ensuring that those operational capital projects allocated are designed in accordance with statutory requirements, regulations and guidance; and delivered in accordance with the agreed programme
Your duties will include:
- Working on a range of Capital projects and dealing with space management
- Overseeing a variety of projects from conception to completion ensuring minimal disruption to staff and service users
- Ensuring that all projects produce the required outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost
- Developing and implementing plans for project delivery, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary to take any changes into account
- Responsible for day-to-day decisions relating to the management of the project including resources and skills required, implementation of project controls, making recommendations on changes to the specifications, budgets and schedules to the Project Sponsor
- Overseeing works carried out by contractors and ensuring works are being completed within the correct time schedule and budget
- Liaising regularly with stakeholders and attending progress meetings
The successful candidate should have:
- Detailed knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience of managing capital projects and subcontractors
