We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Business Partner/Financial Controller for a daily rate contract opportunity. Role Overview
As a Finance Business Partner/Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic financial insights. You will collaborate with various departments to drive financial performance and support business decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain financial control frameworks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely resolution of audit issues.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
- Support senior management with financial reporting and presentations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or Financial Controller within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, financial control principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
