FINANCE OFFICER
An exciting position has arisen for a part time Finance Officer to work for an excellent Educational Charity based in Central London. The postholder will be responsible for clearing a backlog of invoices and assisting the Finance Manager in general finance admin duties.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurately process supplier invoices, ensuring they are correctly matched with purchase orders and goods received notes
- Support with scheduling and processing payments, ensuring that suppliers are paid on time, and managing any queries related to payments
- Accurately processing documents for payments to suppliers within set timescales
- Ensuring and checking that all payments have been properly authorised
- Responsible for reconciliation and checking of supplier statements
- Managing key supplier accounts to ensure timely payments and prevent interruption of supplies
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox efficiently
- Carrying out other finance admin duties
Successful candidate profile:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar finance role
- Experience with month and year end procedures
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
