Financial Accountant

Venn Group are currently working with one of our valued public sector clients to source an experienced Financial Account for an exciting new interim assignment.

The organisation in question is based in Hertfordshire and is paying £27.50 per hour, for six months, and offers hybrid working.

The position involved the following:

1. Supporting on the preparation of the annual statement of accounts ensuring that all technical and statutory requirements are met

2. Helping with year-end working papers and notes to the accounts

3. Assisting with year-end journals and accruals / prepayments

4. Supporting the Senior Financial Accountant to ensure that Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed on a timely basis and with audit trail to satisfy audit requirements.

5. Liaising with auditors
