Head of Building Surveying

Our client is currently recruiting for a Head of Building Surveying on a permanent basis.

As a successful candidate it is essential you will have specific experience in managing a multidisciplinary team of professional staff. Additionally, it is required that you hold an appropriate academic qualification to degree level in a Construction or Property-related discipline and hold professional chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS/FRICS).

The role will consist of the following duties:

-          Lead and implement an effective 10 Year Long Term Maintenance Plan for the University Estates

-          Manage the building condition database and provide reports on Estate building condition as re-quired

-          Establish and maintain, where appropriate, architectural and building design standards

-          To take the Estates’ client role on project work to ensure projects are delivered with the required parameters for time, cost and quality

-          Oversee both the internal and external design teams carrying out University Estate development works

The successful candidate must have experience working in a similar role as a Head of Building Surveying
