Health and Safety Compliance Consultant
Location: London, hybrid working (2dpw onsite)
Length: Permanent
An opportunity has arisen with one of our London based clients for a Health and Safety Compliance Consultant. The successful candidate will assist in effective and efficient management of all aspects of Health and Safety, Fire Safety, CDM and Transport Safety matters, including policy implementation, monitoring and inspection.
Key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Compliance Consultant include:
- Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety and welfare at work and communicate relevant change to stakeholders
- Improve and develop an organizational culture, which promotes the health, safety and fire safety of all employees, clients and the public and supports a safe working environment by contributing to the provision of a fully integrated health, safety and fire safety service
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of an advisory service to Departments on H&S and Fire issues and risk assessments to enable decisions and judgements to be made, consistent with the Council’s obligations as an employer and Council’s corporate policy
- Provide a professional, proactive and commercially focused approach to H&S s(and Fire safety) service delivery across all Council departments
- Liaise with suppliers for procurement of health and safety resources
Essential experience for the Health and Safety Compliance Consultant are:
- Demonstrable extensive experience of Health and Safety compliance within a public sector organisation
- Significant experience across all aspects of Health and Safety
