Housing Officer

An established Housing organisation is currently looking to recruit a Housing Officer based in the Northamptonshire/ Buckinghamshire area on a temporary contract.

Location: Northampton / Milton Keynes (700 properties)
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday
Hybrid working: 3 days on patch, 2 days wfh
Duration: 2-3 months temporary

The role involves:
• Working across a patch of properties delivering a comprehensive tenancy management service to tenants
• Dealing with void properties, conducting viewings and signing new tenancies
• Undertake property inspections before the end of tenancy or as part of the mutual exchange process
• Respond to Anti-Social Behaviour complaints and neighbour disputes
• Ensure all tenancy and housing related records are properly recorded

Additional requirements:
• Previous experience as a Housing Officer
• Excellent communication skills and basic IT skills are essential
• A driver with access to a car is essential for this role
• A DBS check from within the last 3 years of willingness to obtain a new one
